I still have that itch. I should be out on the road still. It was too soon; at least, it feels that way. My recent week long tour with Signals Midwest as they supported Hard Girls and The Smith Street Band was pretty incredible to say the least.
This is part one of two posts I'll be making to recount the tour. This first post is of the first three days, those days being, Montreal, Toronto and Cleveland.
It was great to be out with these guys and to spend the week with them.
I've also included a song of theirs to listen to as you look.
Part two will be out very soon and with all of that being said, I hope you enjoy and thanks for looking.

Above: After the show Signals Midwest and I were taken by Steve Sladkowski to one of his favorite local pubs, Bryden's, in Toronto, Ontario, Wednesday April 6, 2016. As the night went on we were joined by members of Sladkowski's band, Pup, The Smith Street Band, Ian Laidlaw (The Smith Street Band's photographer), Hard Girls and Deforesters.
Above: These three images are of waking up in Toronto, Ontario, Thursday, April 7, 2016. The room was filled with jazz as we woke up. The smell of hot coffee and bacon emanated throughout the floor but before we knew it, we had left our generous host and hit the road.
Above and below: We stopped at a rest stop and took a moment to grab a few quick pictures, somewhere in Ohio, Thursday April 7, 2016.
Above: It was free bowling for the bands at Mahall's in Cleveland, Ohio, Thursday, April 7, 2016. After a game, Chris Bosma, band manager for The Smith Street Band, emerged victorious.

Above: After the show was finished we went to crash at Max Stern's Family home in Cleveland, Ohio, Thursday April 7, 2016. Signals Midwest, Hard Girls and The Smith Street Band all found their way into the house and slept the night away after a small midnight meal.
